The house is quiet now (or at least as quiet as a house with three people and eight animals can get) and I’m beginning to plan out the next few weeks as far as shopping (furniture) and pleasure (hanging with friends, yoga, massages). With Torchwood coming on Wednesday, Doctor Who starting in a few weeks, and just recently finishing Sense & Sensibility there is little of television that will be taking up my time. While I miss my Top Gear and QI, it will be nice to use this time to focus on writing and myself.
The post title is a reference to Hitchhikers as, almost eerily, the transformation from family guests and dinners to the day-to-day routine reminded me exactly of how it worked in the Heart of Gold. One minute, I made of yarn the next, flesh again.
I’m happy to report the journal is wonderful and I’ve been using it at J2 when done with work. All is going to plan.
You might sense this post is a bit disjointed and that just is how I feel at the moment. It will be a day or two before I get back in the swing of things and find my groove. All I ask is that you stick with me till then.
The Sci-Fi List is coming along great and I can honestly say is surprising me. I never thought I’d be able to stick with it but here I am and there I go. No comments yet but from the number of hits I’m getting I know someone out there is reading it. Leave a comment! Let me know what you think! Don’t leave me all alone! (Cry for attention over) I might do some reviews of Torchwood as the episodes air but we’ll see how I feel. No deadlines, no set goals. That’s the rule.
Back to work for me, gentle readers. I hope you all have a great day, or at least a good one.
